New Cathay coffee shop

One of the Penang style big breakfast venue options.  New Cathay coffee shop along Jln Burma.  

This is the best white curry noodles for me.  Rich and spicy, the extra sauce on the spoon is flavourful and a must have to complement the dish.

Chulia street - Wantan mee and Apom

Chulia street has the store that serves up the best wantan mee in town.  Sauce is tasty and noodles is cooked to the right texture and springy.  Fried wantan scores low on presentation but high on flavour. Pork lard on the side, another important ingredient not to miss.

I have the habit of taking 10 apom from the store across the street after the noodles. 

Serves dinner, closes on Mondays.
