Piao Xiang - clay pot rice in Taman Sri tebrau

Piao Xiang clay pot rice ~ one of my frequent lunch options when I was a student.  Mum would get these packed home for us, quantity was big and tasty. Wait was always long, rice was cooked over charcoal fire.

Recent visit to the coffee shop, taste is still much the same, smaller quantity, most importantly the salted fish served is still prepared the same way.

Tried the Johor laksa as well, typical of Johor laksa, served with small fried fish balls and yummy gravy.
