Jantzen vegetarian

My last trip here, we used to have lunch here a lot.  Favourite was pesto pasta.  On my return and revisit, the sauce seems to be a little too fluid.
Tried the vegetarian version of mee goreng recently, pretty satisfactory.  Not too oily which is unlike the non-veg version commonly found in town.
Tomyum fried rice.
The grilled mushroom is still tasty with a complementary dipping sauce.
Butterscotch latte.

Nona Bali Resturant - pork free

A beautifully decorated venue for a quiet get together with colleagues.  Food is well presented and reasonably priced for set-lunches with a small list of ala carte options.  Owner is friendly and chatty.

Beautiful batik on the wall.
Intricate paintings.
Wooden Craft ware.

Colourful oil paintings.
Vegetarian set.
Fish set.
Lemongrass rhapsody.
I had the ala carte Duck bebek, very well done, crispy skin and bones; meat is well spiced and tasty.
Ala carte fish.
Lemongrass mint
We brought in a birthday cake - banana crumble for our dessert.

Passed by a stretch of old houses with unwashed walls after lunch.  A delightful picture of a Red scooter in the foreground.

Carnavon street - dry kuey tiao Thng

Carnavon street dry kuey tiao Thng.  Fish balls made of eel meat, add the tasty minced pork slices, sauce is delicious and topped with crunchy pork lard.  Superb!

They sell homemade cakes and cookies as well.  Walnut cookies are very addictive, crunchy and tasty; be sure to pack some home after the meal.

Warning: park opposite instead of illegal parking along the same side of the road, tha carpark staff are pretty efficient to issue summon here.

Kith cafe

This place serves one of the best value for money Foi Gras brioche in town.  The place to re-visit for foi gras fixes.
This view always reminds me of the famous painting from Renaaisance artist Renoir - Luncheon of the boating party; where people were enjoying their lunch and making conversations.   I love watching people engaged in their activities.
Reproduction of The painting.  The live of the party is captured in the painting, that's what makes the painting timeless.

Foi gras brioche ~ foi gras is rich and yummy, oozing out with fragrant oil.  Broiche is soft on the inside and crusty on the out.  A beautiful marriage.
Big breakfast
Ham and mushroom with truffle oil thin crust pizza.
Parma ham thin crust pizza
Truffle fries - pretty good in taste.
Yummy mango smoothie
